Palace on Wheel

Make learning fun for the family by going sightseeing at historical places. This makes a great history lesson for the kids, and teaches things in a fun way instead of by the book. Learning history just by textbook is pretty boring, so make your children excited about learning and stimulate their minds while having a good time relaxing.

Take one teaspoon of tea for every cup, and one for the pot. Put the tea leaves in a teapot. Bring the water to a boil. Add the boiling water to the teapot. Let it sit for 5 minutes for the tea to brew.

One of the world's most popular Cities, London is a fantastic location for any length of visit - great sights, great food and great hotels. With so many attractions to see and do, you really will have difficulty fitting even only the major attractions in one visit. The first port of call for most visitors is Buckingham Palace, the residence of the Queen and the Royal Family.

If you are not someone who likes to lounge about during holidays but likes to get some physical exercise all the while having a look at some beautiful sites, you would love the range of active holidays available in France. You can cycle through the city of Paris or the French countryside, either alone or guided by someone. You also have the option of roaming the countryside on foot. Personally, UI would prefer lazing around at the poolside but if you are one for action go for these tours.

Leh serves as the gateway to the snow desert of Ladakh. Being located at a high place, it is not only admired for amazing sightseeing, but also for some of the rarest adventure sports. Leh Ladakh tourism takes you to the paradise on earth. There are a number of Buddhist monasteries, that are centre of attraction among the history buffs, art lovers and religious minded people.

The sun goes down over streets crowded with house wives shopping for vegetables for the evening meal. Motor bikes weave in and out of the hustle and bustle. The cobbled alleyways are slippery from last night's rains; old men watch the world go by from the overhead in intricately carved Newari style windows. There's a smell of mingled fresh and rotting vegetables in the air and the hum of conversations reaches my ears.

If you have decided to pass on your foreign holiday this year because you have been hit by the economic crisis, then don't despair there are other options. In the UK there are plenty of locations that are worth visiting, possibly places you wouldn't have normally considered as you jet off to the sun.
